At the University of Maryland, mock trial is not only a competitive team, but also a three-credit class, which is open to all undergraduate students in any major.  Coached by law professors and practicing attorneys, many of whom are former UMD mockers, students learn to communicate with confidence, problem-solve, argue persuasively and effectively, and become integral team players.
