Thank you for your interest in applying to MLaw’s Law and Society Minor.  The Admissions Committee reviews applications for admission on a rolling basis, as applications are completed with all application requirements.  Please be advised that the Law and Society Minor is a limited enrollment program.  As such, it is to your advantage to complete your application as early as possible.

How To Apply

Applicants may apply online via the Law and Society electronic application. Please be aware that the Admissions Committee needs time to process materials once received at their offices, so applicants should send their material to the Admissions Committee well in advance of application deadlines.  We encourage you to submit your online application while you are waiting for letter(s) of recommendation to be sent to the Admissions Committee.

The Law and Society Minor accepts applications to begin in the Fall semester only.  The Admissions Committee is currently accepting applications for Fall 2015 admission. Because the Law and Society Minor is a limited enrollment program and admission into the minor is offered on a rolling basis, it is to your advantage to complete your application as early as possible in the application cycle.  The priority application deadline for Fall 2015 admission has been extended to March 9, 2015.

After the priority admissions date, applications will be reviewed as they are received and admissions will be made until the minor reaches capacity.  Please be advised that it is possible that the minor may reach near capacity with the applications submitted by the priority date.

Please note that applications will not be reviewed until all required documentation has been received (please see application requirements).  We encourage you to submit your online application and other supporting documentation while you are waiting for your letter(s) of recommendation to be sent to the Admissions Committee.  Letters of recommendation should be submitted as soon as possible but you should not wait to submit your application.
