The University of Maryland Fellows Program is an incredible opportunity for students to obtain valuable public service experience at the state and local levels. In the spring, students participate in internships of their choice in the public and non-profit sectors especially in local and state policy and practice. Students take fall seminar courses to broaden their understanding of leadership as it pertains to local/state policy efforts. The UMD Fellows Program is in collaboration with the Federal and Global Fellows Program as well as the Maryland General Assembly Writing Internship and the Department of Government and Politics. The Office is located at 2407 Marie Mount Hall.
