Come join us for Constitution Day on Thursday, September 17 from 4 to 6:30 pm at the UM Carey School of Law. There will be a panel discussing two major cases decided in the 2014-2015 term.
Constitution Day is observed every September 17 and recognizes the adoption of the Constitution and those who have become US citizens. MLAW will be hosting a panel to celebrate the day and have an open discussion on two historic Supreme Court decisions from the 2014-2015 term: Glossip v Goss which sanctioned the legality of certain drugs used for lethal injections and Obergell v Hodges which found same-sex marriage constitutional across all 50 states.
Transportation will be provided from Stamp Student Union to the law school at 2:30pm. Click below to RSVP by September 16th.
